Klarawieck is the pen name of a 36 year old writer and musician, born and raised in Havana, Cuba. She has been studying piano since the age of six, and comes from a long line of musicians on her father's side, and a long line of mediums on her mother's side. So, it is to be expected that two of her favorite subjects to write about are music and spirituality.  

Klara began to write at an early age in her native Spanish language, and won a school district poetry contest at the age of eight. It was a short poem about a bird flying free and moving south. Even at that early age, she understood that, in Cuba, making a referrence to a bird flying north would disqualify any student in the first round. The problem came later, when they came to interview her at the school and she plainly admitted to wanting the bird to fly north. But it was too late by then. The pictures had been taken, and the certificate of award was in her hand.

She continued her music studies at the University of Miami where she graduated with honors as a classical pianist. Her favorite composers are Brahms, Schumann, the real Clara (Wieck) Schumann, Mozart, and J.S. Bach. But she also studied enough jazz piano to become proficient playing with local jazz, latin, blues, and rock bands. She is a songwriter as well as a classical music recording artist.

During her free time, Klara likes to spend some time getting to know people in the forums. She detests shopping, but tries to head down to the beach almost every day to collect shells, pebbles, and corals. She also enjoys reading, walking, and spending time in her Miami Beach apartment enjoying the beautiful view of the city and the ocean, which she shares with her husband and their American Eskimo dog.

( The one thing she still doesn't get is why she's still referring to herself in third person.)
